This has been a pretty cool
week. I have been able to teach lessons without having to write out
everything I say, so I would say that great things are happening
language-wise. Korean is an awesome language, and I look forward to
using it once I get out into the field in a few more weeks.
This
week, I finished the Book of Mormon again. Once again, I have learned
just how amazing that book is. It's true, and contains the Gospel of
Christ. If anyone reading this hasn't read it all the way through yet, I
would definitely encourage you to start reading it, live by what it
teaches, and find out for yourself just how much it can bless your life.
I know that it has blessed mine, and I have learned a great deal from
my study of it.
MTC
life continues to be full of surprises and miracles. Some days, I don't
know how I make it through a full day of study, class, more study, and
more class. I know that in days like those, nothing less than a miracle
could help me continue to keep working and becoming the best missionary I
can be. I've taught lessons where I have no idea what I should say, but
then I remember that one grammar form, or vocabulary word, or some
other little thing that helps me to get our message across. In those
moments, I know that the work that I have been assigned to do must be
inspired by God.
Since
it was the 4th of July yesterday, there was a special devotional at the
MTC. We had a really fun musical number, a very good speaker, and we
watched "17 miracles". After that, we headed outside and watched some of
the fireworks that were going off at the "Stadium of Fire" celebration
at BYU.
Thanks
to everyone for your thoughts and prayers, I know that they are helping
me out as I continue to fulfill my responsibilities as a missionary.
Until next week, keep doing awesome stuff!
