Week 12 - Making Progress

It's been another awesome week in Australia. I think that I've actually started making some progress in being able to talk to strangers. Last week, I was talking to a man on the street, and he actually gave me an email address to contact! Hopefully, I'll be able to meet with him sometime soon.
Another one of the people we've been able to meet with is a university student named Jack. He's really been enjoying our lessons and he's even come to church with us. We were able to meet with him again yesterday, and I think that he really wants to learn about what we teach. We'll have to see how it goes with him.

This week, we had Stake Conference with the Sydney Harbour stake. I got to meet with a lot of the local missionaries as well as President and Sister Howes. We got to go to the Greenwich Chapel, one of the older church buildings in Sydney. It is such a cool place, and it even has an outdoor area between all of the different parts of the building.

One of the Elders who lives in the same apartment as me is finishing his mission this week. He was one of the zone leaders, and he'll be missed for sure. He lives in Delta, and is starting at Dixie State University the day after he comes home.

Well, the next time you hear from me, I'll be 19!

Until then, love,
Elder Clark
(Note from Elder Clark's Mom:  I received pictures and emails from members who saw Elder Clark at Stake Conference this weekend.  Makes me want to do the same for Missionaries who are serving in this area.  See the following pictures!)
